Skink Ink Fine Art is a fine art print studio, editions publisher and gallery in Williamsburg Brooklyn. We specialize in Giclée or Archival Pigment Prints, which are wide-format archival inkjet prints. We began on February 25th 2011 with a show of works by the photogrpaher Anne Arden McDonald. It was our intention then and is still to showcase artists who can embrace the digital as well as more established art making techniques. Sometimes we take an artist's work and reproduce it in print form at other times the print can be a new work or a 'spin off' from the artists usual methods such as the film stills of Hal Hartley. We believe that ink-jet printing deserves a place alongside more historically accepted methods of working and to this end we took the form of an 'atelier' or studio where we both make and show editions.
